Job description

  • Technical guidance of a team of firmware engineers and management of our design reviews to ensure our high quality standards for sensor platforms ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE
  • Ensure integration of RTOS, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C), and sensor algorithms
  • Collaborate with design engineers to define firmware requirements and interfaces
  • Drive best practices in embedded software development, including static analysis, unit testing, and continuous integration
  • Contribute to long-term product and technology roadmaps by staying up to date on embedded systems, sensor technology, and the latest standards in the automotive industry

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in embedded firmware development, with at least 3 years in an engineering architect or technical leadership role
  • Deep understanding of embedded C/C++, RTOS, and microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex-M)
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN) and industrial interfaces (Modbus, EtherCAT)
  • Familiarity with safety-critical development processes (ISO 26262, ASPICE)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Fluent English
