Join our dynamic Cloud Delivery Architecture team within the P&E Cross Architecture unit, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of harmonized Cloud Delivery architecture, tools, and processes across SAP. Working closely with experienced Cloud Architects and Project Managers, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on our innovative and highly strategic projects at SAP.
In this role, your technical excellence and understanding of DevOps processes will be essential. You will join our Cross Product Alignment (CPA) Working Group for Sovereign Cloud to drive the standardization of tools, processes, and north star architecture along the deployment, and operations of SAP cloud products for Sovereign Cloud and Sovereign Cloud Onsite.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Drive the execution: conduct the required technical assessment and drive the LoB adoption of reference architecture, and technology guidelines defined
- Define the north star: Contributing to the north star vision, reference architecture, and technology guidelines as part of CPA. Additionally, create the LoB-specific solution architecture together with LoBs, define governance, and guardrails
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Maintain active engagement with key stakeholders incl. senior management, govern running projects, and ensure that key contributors are working jointly towards a common vision
- Act as team player: Facilitate business and technical discussions among contributors, foster a strong team dynamic and actively supporting fellow team members (inside and outside CDA) to achieve overall team success
- Create business cases: Identify business opportunities and create a business case to help SAP improve the cloud margins, realize the TCO savings, and increase customer
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in the software development with solid hands-on experience with at least 1-2 cloud native programming languages such as Java, Javascript, Python
- Experience in leading a scrum team or project is an asset
- Broad knowledge of SAP cloud product portfolio including SAP Business Technology Platform is an asset
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, handle challenging situations involving senior executives, and juggle multiple topics simultaneously
- Creative thinker, highly motivated and results-driven with a "can-do" attitude to get the job done
- Demonstrated ability to take accountability, and responsibility and consistently deliver high-quality results efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to clearly present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholder
- Openness to continuous learning to enhance skills beyond core functional focus, staying current with industry trends, and acquiring new knowledge to contribute effectively to the team's success
