Cloud Automation and Innovation - IT Architecture Expert

As part of Enterprise Cloud Services, the mission of the ECS CAE Technology and Architecture team is to set up the ECS for the future by driving innovation, architectural best practices and industry standard concepts which will help drive SAP HANA adoption and scale as well as to provide Enterprise class cloud offerings for mission critical operations. The team is focusing on fast time-to-value at reduced cost and risk.

The team is responsible for creating, consolidating, and driving the ECS architecture, automation and innovation roadmap across various teams under consideration of the overall SAP business target.

The Role:

Working as a lead architect for a specific project as part of the ECS CAE Technology and Architecture Cloud Automation and Innovation team to support several strategic projects and architecture initiatives to improve our BUILD and RUN processes as well as automation. You will be responsible to lead one of these projects end to end to deliver in time and budget.

As many of the projects go across team boundaries and countries strong networking, communication and coordination skills are required.

Do you have experience in Software development?, * Experienced IT system landscape architect with proven track record of leading complex architecture setups across distributed systems in the context of SAP Technology.

• At least 15 years of SAP Technical Consultant and expertise in S4Hana and NetWeaver, SAP Certification is a plus
• Deep knowledge on SAP Security Standards with hands-on experience with SNC and SSL, SAP Security Certification is a plus
• Solid technical experience with SAP Applications and associated SAP Tools like Landscape Management (Lama), Focused Run (FRUN), etc. is a plus.
• Software development background in ABAP, Java, Python or similar is a plus
• Strong technical experience with Encryption standards, PKI infrastructures, Host intrusion detection and Vulnerability management (OpenSCAP).
• Technical experience on ECS supported hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP) as well as on private cloud. Hyperscaler certification is a plus.
• Solid technical experience with end-to-end automation for provisioning and operating SAP system landscapes and their life cycle management.
• Solid technical experience of Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management and Version control systems (GIT).
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and automated integration and deployment of agile principles.
• High degree of personal maturity, an orientation to goals and success, and an ability to work well with highly-technical experts
• Fluent English and German language skill
