Job description
Do you enjoy shaping user experiences on mobile, and creating clear, intuitive interfaces that make complex strategy games easy to navigate?
As a Senior UI Designer at Snowprint, you'll focus on the award-winning game Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus. You'll be trusted with ownership and have real influence in shaping the visual structure and interaction patterns of new features, while helping to evolve the overall UI direction of the game.
You will see the direct impact of your work in a live game with a dedicated audience and a tight release cadence. Here, you will work in an environment where people support each other, where self-leadership is valued, and where curiosity and thoughtful solutions are encouraged.
You'll be part of a design environment that cares deeply about clarity, usability and consistency, and where your experience will have a meaningful impact from day one.
What you'll be doing
You'll design and implement UI for new features and live events in Tacticus, from early mockups and structure explorations to building layouts in Unity and bringing features all the way to release. You'll also update and refine existing UI where needed to improve clarity, consistency and the overall user experience.
Your daily work will involve design work in tools such as Figma, Google Slides and Photoshop, creating design decks for upcoming features, integrating UI in Unity, testing in-game and iterating based on feedback from both colleagues and players. With Tacticus being a live game with a tight release cadence, you will see the impact of your work quickly and learn directly from real player behaviour.
While the focus is on UI, the role also includes UX-related work, such as contributing to user flows, clarifying interaction patterns and helping ensure that features are easy to understand and navigate.
