Machine Learning Engineer

• Developing new features and maintaining applications that process hundreds of millions of transactions
• Taking responsibility on your own initiative with the support of your team
• Solving 3rd level support requests
• Actively help to build up our internal and external knowledge base

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you are a member of a Scrum team and regularly interact with your colleagues there

• You plan and organize your activities and tasks with the team
• You take responsibility for the development of our solution and bring the Scrum team to the highest performance with your experience
• You clarify the requirements with the responsible product owner, develop concepts as well as solutions in the team and work closely with the specialists from other areas to implement them optimally

• You have several years of experience in machine learning with demonstrable production-grade software contributions
• You have sound software engineering practices. Topics such as Continuous Integration and Delivery, Clean Code and Code Reviews are a matter of course for you
• You have a higher education or further education, preferably in the field of computer science
• You are fluent in written and spoken English

We're looking for a hybrid profile: a Machine Learning Engineer who is equally comfortable prototyping state-of-the-art models and shipping robust, scalable services to production. You'll own end-to-end ML systems - from data pipeline design and experimentation to model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring - while writing clean, maintainable code that your teammates love to work with. This is not a pure research role nor a traditional backend role. It's the sweet spot in between.
