Job description

  • Responsibility for the requirements management of Eplan solutions for the aspects of preplanning and concept engineering for discrete as well as continuous processes - with regard to our focus markets, target industries as well as existing and potential customers
  • Development of product strategies for our business areas, especially in the process industry, energy and building technology
  • Analysis of market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for our software solutions and derive strategic recommendations
  • Business and use case management: Identification, validation and maintenance of business cases and use cases as well as derivation of development priorities and product roadmaps
  • Close collaboration with internal departments such as Vertical Market Management, Sales, Go-to-Market, Solutions and other divisions
  • Coordination of relevant stakeholders and communication on visions, strategies and developments within the company

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in software product management or in a comparable role
  • Completed studies in (business) engineering or in a comparable field
  • Independent and structured way of working as well as analytical thinking to find practical solutions for complex tasks and to communicate/moderate complex topics
  • Good understanding of software products and their life cycle
  • Customer-oriented appearance and a team player mentality
  • Knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban is desirable
  • Very good German and good English skills
