Job description
As part of our Development Mechanics team, you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of complex mechatronic systems for active medical devices.

YOUR TASKS
- You will develop mechanical and/or mechatronic components for active medical devices.
- You are responsible for the integration of (interdisciplinary) subsystems.
- You will be involved in and/or responsible for the introduction and optimization of processes in product development.
- You will support the development and improvement of assembly and manufacturing processes.
- You will carry out verification and validation tests, including functional, safety, performance and usability tests.
- You will create design controls and carry out risk management measures.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering preferably with a focus on mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or information technologies
- At least 5 years of practical experience in the fields of mechanical, electrical or software engineering, with experience in integrating these disciplines to develop complex systems in the medical technology environment
- Knowledge of regulations, standards and quality management systems for medical devices (MDR, 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, IEC 60601-1/-2 and ISO 14971)
- Mastery of agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban, o. a.)
- Ability to analyse and solve complex problems efficiently
- Clear and transparent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and networks
- Willingness to learn about new technologies, tools and best practices
- Fluent in written and spoken English
