IoT Platform Shopfloor Connectivity - Consultant/Senior Consultant

• Design and implement custom gateway solutions for diverse automotive power cell manufacturing environments
• Perform technical integration project activities combining edge computing, cloud services, and industrial communication protocols
• Develop and maintain automation / simulation scripts for deployment and configuration management
• Configure and optimize message translation services between different data formats
• Ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical IoT platforms
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Provide technical consulting advice to the customer in alignment with requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field Erfahrung Strong expertise in container orchestration and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, OpenShift, CI/CD, GitHub & GitHub Actions) Proficient in JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Typescript (plus) Deep understanding of MQTT, message format translation (JSON/XML), RESTful APIs, network (firewalls, proxies, certificates), unit and integration testing Understanding of industrial automation and Industry 4.0 concepts Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and standards Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) are a plus Container orchestration certifications (CKA, OpenShift) are a plus Strong client communication skills Problem-solving and analytical thinking Technical consulting skills Client relationship management Documentation and technical writing Independent work and team collaboration Adaptability to changing technical requirements business-fluent English at C1 level; German is a plus Flexibility, Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in industrial IoT platforms and system integration
• Strong expertise in container orchestration and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, OpenShift, CI/CD, GitHub & GitHub Actions)
• Proficient in JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Typescript (plus)
• Deep understanding of MQTT, message format translation (JSON/XML), RESTful APIs, network (firewalls, proxies, certificates), unit and integration testing

Cloud Platforms

• Experience with Azure Cloud services, AWS Cloud platform, or on-premises Industrial IoT (IIoT) deployment solutions

Industry Knowledge

• Experience in manufacturing shopfloor connectivity environments
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or power cell production environments (plus)
• Understanding of industrial automation and Industry 4.0 concepts
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and standards

Professional Qualifications
