Job description
- You will be part of an interdisciplinary team comprising security, IT, and hosting specialists, supporting exciting tasks related to IT security, data protection, and certifications.
- You will support the implementation of measures to increase our security standards and processes and contribute your own ideas.
- You will participate in the development of security guidelines and coordinate with various departments on requirements and possibilities.
- Together with the security team, you will carry out risk assessments by identifying, classifying, and evaluating security risks.
- You will research current threats, new IT security vulnerabilities, legislation, and trends in the field of IT security and prepare the results for the team.
- You will assist in the preparation and implementation of certifications (e.g., ISO 27001), including the necessary documentation.
- You will help create training documents and awareness materials for employees.
- You will create reports and summarize the current status of security measures in projects or products.
Note: All tasks will be performed under professional guidance and in close coordination with experienced colleagues. Independent work refers exclusively to tasks without security-critical or legally relevant implications.
Requirements
- You are currently enrolled in a degree program, preferably with a focus on computer science, business informatics, or security.
- You have basic knowledge or initial experience in the areas of IT security or security in development (e.g., through studies, internships, or your own projects).
- You pay attention to accurate and responsible work, especially when documenting and analyzing security-related topics.
- You are interested in current developments in the field of IT security and are motivated to acquire new knowledge.
- You are willing to take on responsibility and approach people openly to solve their problems.
- You have very good German language skills (C2 level) to analyze and process requirements from laws, regulations, or customer documents and to document results.
- You have good English skills for working with international teams, documentation, and technical literature.
- Optional:
- Knowledge of data protection (e.g., GDPR)
- Experience with certifications (e.g., ISO 27001) or awareness measures
