• Drive the continued development of our high-performance DDoS defense systems and help make the Internet a safer place.
• Analyze existing and emerging attack vectors, design effective mitigation strategies, and protect our customers from malicious traffic.
• Architect, build, and operate globally distributed software systems that process and classify large volumes of Internet traffic in real time.

• Strong proficiency in C , with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Deep understanding of low-level programming concepts such as pointers , memory management , locks , and threads .
• Solid grasp of common programming paradigms, data structures, and algorithms; ideally, you are also familiar with lock-free / lockless programming concepts.
• Passion for debugging complex systems and solving intricate technical challenges - ideally using tools such as gdb , valgrind , or similar.
• A mindset geared toward sharing knowledge, learning continuously, and contributing to technical discussions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, while communicating requirements, challenges, and progress clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German .
