Senior Full-Stack Engineer-AI Incubator Team

We're building something bold inside ablefy - a fast-moving AI Incubator team focused on launching entirely new products that drive revenue beyond the core. Think of it as a startup within a scale-up: small, empowered, and business-first.

As our Full-Stack Engineer, you'll help shape 0 1 products where AI meets commerce - with direct impact on seller success, customer journeys, and our bottom line. You'll work side by side with product, design, and growth leads who move fast, love shipping, and are obsessed with finding signal in noise.

Responsibilities

Build & Ship Greenfield Products

• Take ownership of new product development from concept to production, working in a fast-moving incubator environment.
• Architect and implement full-stack features using Next.js, delivering both frontend experiences and robust backend services.
• Deploy and maintain systems on Vercel/AWS, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.

Backend Engineering Excellence

• Design and build scalable APIs with proper service architecture, understanding patterns like dependency injection, transactions, and idempotency.
• Optimize for serverless constraints-implementing background job processing, caching strategies, and avoiding common scalability pitfalls.
• Work with PostgreSQL and ORMs, writing efficient queries and understanding when to use transactions.

Collaborate & Iterate

• Partner closely with product, design, and growth to rapidly test hypotheses and ship improvements.
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities where they create tangible user and platform value.
• Connect technical decisions directly to business outcomes and MRR goals.

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise.

• Deep Next.js knowledge beyond the frontend-you understand App Router, Server Components, caching strategies, and the full-stack capabilities of modern Next.js.
• Solid backend engineering fundamentals: you can explain and implement concepts like idempotency, rate limiting, dependency injection, and database transactions.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including query optimization and ORM patterns.
• Comfortable with serverless architecture-you understand the constraints and patterns for building scalable applications on platforms like Vercel.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong product ownership; you connect technical work to business outcomes.
• Clear communicator who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams with shifting priorities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with tRPC or similar type-safe API frameworks.
• Background job processing experience (Inngest, BullMQ, or similar).
• Prior work with LLMs, vector databases, or building AI-powered features.
• Python experience for AI/ML integrations.
• E-commerce, SaaS, or FinTech domain experience.
• Contributions to open-source or prior incubator/startup experience.
