Job description
- apply your deep knowledge in machine learning and computer vision to develop future ZEISS solutions in the area of (semi-)autonomous robotics and assistance systems
- autonomous robotics and assistance systems
- build proof-of-concept demonstrators
- initiate and manage cooperative research projects
- provide technical guidance to students and colleagues
Requirements
- an excellent university degree in engineering, computer science or mathematics
- a PhD or equivalent work experience
- broad experience in realizing assistive or autonomous robotic systems, based on machine learning and computer vision techniques
- first experience in proposing, acquiring and managing projects
- fluent English language skills, a hands-on mentality, an open mind, excellent problem-solving, communication and innovation skills as well as a clear user focus
- passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as fun working in agile, interdisciplinary teams
