- Design cloud-based SAP solutions to support and enhance billing-related business processes
- Provide architectural guidance to internal departments and external implementation partners
- Evaluate business requirements to ensure alignment with business processes and overarching functional and solution architectures
- Take ownership of subproject management and lead implementation efforts within large-scale SAP projects
- Analyze and continuously optimize existing SAP systems and processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop detailed technical specifications and solution architectures tailored to business needs
- Train and support end users as well as internal IT teams in the use and maintenance of SAP systems
- Identify potential risks in system architecture or project delivery and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification
- Extensive experience in a role involving SAP architecture or a similar technical leadership position
- Strong expertise in at least one SAP module (e.g., SAP SD and/or SAP BRIM); experience with S/4HANA (Private Cloud) and SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus
- Proven track record in managing SAP implementation projects, including requirements gathering and (partial) project management responsibilities
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles and methodologies across the development lifecycle
- Strong analytical thinking and conceptual problem-solving abilities
- Proactive mindset with a focus on solutions and confident decision-making
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach
- Professional proficiency (minimum B2 level) in both German and English
