Junior Data Analyst (Malta)

• Assist in writing SQL queries to retrieve and explore data.
• Support the creation of dashboards and data visualizations.
• Help analyse trends in player activity, marketing performance, and product usage.
• Work with the analytics team to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in data modelling and documentation tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes.

(You will not be expected to own projects independently at the start - progression will be gradual and fully supported.)

Do you have experience in Tableau?, This role is perfect for someone at the very start of their analytics career - no professional experience is required. We are looking for a fast learner with strong analytical thinking, basic technical foundations, and a genuine passion for working with data.

You will support our analytics team by writing SQL queries, helping build dashboards, and contributing to analysis across product, marketing, and operational teams. Full training and mentorship will be provided., * Intermediate SQL knowledge (SELECT, JOINs, filtering, grouping).

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of dashboards and visualisation concepts.
• Basic understanding of data modelling principles.
• Familiarity with fundamental statistical concepts (A/B testing basics, regression meaning, distributions).
• Curiosity, motivation, and a strong desire to grow within data analytics.
• Ability to learn quickly and take on feedback.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to Python for data analysis.
• Familiarity with dbt, Git, or modern data tools.
• Experience with Tableau, Sigma Computing, or similar BI tools.
• Experience in the iGaming industry (even in non-data roles).
• Any previous junior analytics exposure (courses, internship, projects).
