Tasks
- Design end-to-end architectures for industrial data landscapes.
- Define data flows and roles from production to analytics platforms.
- Support clients in standardizing processes across systems and products., * You design and are responsible for end-to-end architectures for industrial data and system landscapes (OT-MES-ERP-Cloud)
- You define data flows, system roles, and data ownership from production to analytics and reporting platforms
- You make architectural decisions on integration patterns (e.g., MQTT, event-based approaches, APIs, UNS)
- You support clients in standardizing and scaling across plants, lines, and products
- You develop operational and scaling models (CI/CD, failover, support, cost transparency)
- You act as a sparring partner for clients at engineering, IT, and management levels
- You work closely with cloud, data, and integration teams and provide architectural direction
Requirements
- Several years of experience in architecting complex system landscapes.
- Strong understanding of production systems, MES, ERP, and cloud.
- Ability to communicate complex technical structures clearly., * Several years of experience in architecting industrial or complex system landscapes
- Very good understanding of the interplay between production systems (OT), MES, ERP, and cloud platforms
- Experience in designing scalable data architectures
- Ability to clearly structure and communicate complex technical contexts
- Experience in making and representing architectural decisions to various stakeholders
- Knowledge of integration and data technologies (e.g., MQTT, event streaming, time series, cloud analytics)
- Very good English skills, German is an advantage
- Willingness to occasionally accompany clients on-site
