Job description

As a Scrum Master, you are responsible for the smooth functioning of the agile team and the implementation of New Ways of Working. Together with your team, you will develop and operate our Network Monitoring & Event Management Services, promoting and ensuring the principles, practices and values of agile working. Your role includes supporting self-organisation, improving productivity and solving project hurdles while keeping an eye on stakeholder interests and priorities. You will also be responsible for the further development of platforms and services, coordinate DevOps teams and promote the continuous improvement of products. You will work closely with product management and system architects to ensure product strategy and implementation.

  • Responsibility for the further development of the team and support in the implementation of lean and agile methods
  • Innovative environment with cloud technologies and latest working methods
  • Close collaboration with various teams, product owners and product managers
  • Expand servant leadership in a dynamic environment and increase the stability and quality of products
  • Promoting self-organisation and continuous improvement through coaching
  • Support team-specific implementation according to Scrum and SAFe
  • Planning and defining iteration goals with the agile team
  • Responsibility for achieving the sprint and PI goals
  • Varied product owner role with a broad spectrum in network-related IT, responsibility for internally used services

Requirements

  • Degree (Uni/ UAS/PEI/Federal VET Diploma) in computer science or business informatics
  • Certification as a Scrum Master or in comparable agile methods
  • Several years of experience as a Scrum Master or team coach in an agile environment
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the application and anchoring of methods such as SAFe, lean-agile and New Work
  • Sound knowledge of network technologies and Linux (RedHat)
  • Expert knowledge in IT service management technologies and security-related applications
  • Application of servant leadership principles in demanding team environments
  • Experience in the field of observability, monitoring or data science is an advantage
  • Communication skills, empathy and assertiveness
  • Able to build and continuously improve high performing teams
  • Ability to organise and deal with conflict and enjoy teamwork
  • Very good German and English
