Job description
- Management of complex projects, lead project tasks, implement methodologies and deliver evidence-based outputs on time and to the satisfaction of our space public clients
- Contribute to the internal training programme and help to develop junior team members
- Contribute to the development of our business by identifying opportunities and contributing to the development of winning proposals
- Contribute to the development of the team by bringing fresh and innovative ideas
- Encourage collaboration and mutual learning across team members
- Support the design and implementation of the company strategy, * Study on supporting the technology and market monitoring of downstream space, creating the GNSS and EO Market Report (EO & GNSS Market Report | EU Agency for the Space Programme (europa.eu)) and developing a conceptual framework for measuring the benefits of the EU Space Programme, for EUSPA
- Study on supporting the analysis of opportunities and barriers for the uptake of EU space services and the development of the EU Space Strategy, for DG DEFIS
- Evaluation study on the European Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation for addressing Global Challenges and Industrial Competitiveness - Focus on activities for the Digital and Industrial Transition, for DG RTD
- Study on Union of equality: EU defence, aeronautics and space sectors, for DG DEFIS
- European 5G Observatory, Phase III, for DG CNCT
- Study on the current and prospective use of the 900 MHz band by GSM as a technology of reference, considering present and future Union policies, for DG CNCT

Requirements
- Sectoral expertise in upstream and downstream space policy, in particular connected to the markets and impacts components of the EU Space programme, namely Copernicus and the new Secure Satcom components (preferrable), SSA/SST and/or Galileo / EGNOS
- Familiarity with the upstream sector is a plus
- 5 years of relevant experience in policy, economic and/or market analysis including in the field of space (at least 3 in the field of space within overall professional experience is a must). Experience beyond 5 years will impact the seniority of the proposed position
- Experience in project management - experience in managing complex projects is welcome and will impact the level of seniority of the proposed position
- Ability to support the coordination of project teams, including partners, experts, and internal teams
- Experience in writing and winning competitive bids for public-sector clients (a plus)
- Coaching of more junior staff
- Coordination of desk research campaigns and stakeholder consultations
- Strong economic analysis (cost-benefit analysis) and market assessment skills
- Ability to autonomously coordinate data analysis activities
- Problem-solving and proactive attitude
- A relevant master's degree
