Job description
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Junior Scrum Master to support several Agile teams in their daily work and help them evolve towards a more effective, autonomous, and value-driven organization. You will contribute to creating a collaborative, transparent work environment focused on continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities
- Scrum Process Facilitation
- Lead Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, and retrospectives.
- Support the creation, prioritization, and maintenance of sprint backlogs.
- Ensure transparency, strengthen internal communication, and help align team objectives.
- Impediment Management
- Identify and remove obstacles slowing down the teams.
- Escalate structural issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Support team members in finding pragmatic and effective solutions.
- Team Cohesion and Communication
- Foster a safe, respectful, and open team environment.
- Encourage collaboration, commitment, and team engagement.
- Improve communication between team members and stakeholders.
- Support to the Product Owner
- Contribute to product backlog management and refinement.
- Help maintain focus on value creation and priorities.
- Assist in stakeholder communication and demo preparation.
- Promotion of the Agile Mindset
- Act as an ambassador for Agile values and principles.
- Engage in communities of practice and internal Agile initiatives.
- Contribute to the Agile maturity and growth of the teams and the organization.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- 0 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or within an Agile team environment.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Basic knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps.
- Fluent in Dutch and good working knowledge of French.
- English is a plus.
- Communicative, eager to learn, structured, team-oriented, and solution-driven.
- Experience in the public sector is an asset but not required.

- Scrum / Agile: Junior level, with recent experience (1 to 3 years).
- Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams: Junior level, recent experience (1 to 3 years).
